With perfect scores from the jury, Team Z121 Vina Pyrotech from Vietnam and Team Jiangxi Yanfeng from China have advanced to the final of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2025 (DIFF 2025).

On the afternoon of June 29, the DIFF 2025 organizing committee officially announced that the Vietnamese and Chinese teams will compete in the grand finale scheduled for the evening of July 12.

Teams were evaluated based on several key criteria: originality, design concept, thematic consistency, creativity, diversity and vibrancy of effects and colors, music synchronization, the quality and impact of the finale, and overall emotional resonance as perceived by the jury.

Z121 Vina Pyrotech, making its debut appearance at DIFF, competed in the second night of the festival with a performance titled “Aspiration to rise.” The show depicted Da Nang’s journey from the past to the present and toward the future. It impressed both judges and audiences with its technical finesse, innovative firework effects, compelling narrative, and deeply emotional musical arrangement.

Jiangxi Yanfeng, representing China on the third night, presented “The untold Journey to the West,” a performance steeped in Eastern mystique. The team showcased advanced self-developed fireworks technology, including dynamic, multi-layered color-shifting effects reminiscent of a mythical cinematic experience. Their meticulous choreography and precise synchronization to music captivated the audience and earned high praise from the jury.

Both teams demonstrated a remarkable blend of advanced pyrotechnics and distinct cultural expression, perfectly embodying the DIFF 2025 theme: “Da Nang - A new era.”

At the results announcement meeting, a draw was conducted to determine the performance order for the final night. Team Jiangxi Yanfeng (China) will perform first, followed by Team Z121 Vina Pyrotech (Vietnam).

In the finale of DIFF 2025, each team will be allocated nearly 7,000 fireworks by the organizers. Based on the provided materials, they will craft a performance aligned with the finale theme, “Welcoming a new era.” The night promises to deliver breathtaking spectacles that reflect the ambition and vision of the Han River city.
