Korean actor Park Sung Woong, known for his performance in The Dude in Me (Bearman), has confirmed his attendance at the 2025 Da Nang Asian Film Festival (DANAFF III), which will be held from June 29 to July 5.

According to the DANAFF III organizers, Park Sung Woong will join a star-studded lineup that includes Ji Chang Wook and Moon So Ri. His appearance is expected to be a major highlight of this year’s festival, themed “Bridging Asia,” which will feature a diverse range of cultural and cinematic exchange activities between Vietnam and other Asian countries.
Born in 1973, Park Sung Woong began his acting career in 1997 with the film No. 3. Over nearly three decades, he has built a reputation as one of South Korea’s most consistent and versatile actors.
Renowned for his refusal to be confined to a single type of role, Park has portrayed a wide spectrum of characters = from heroes to villains, from comedic roles to emotionally complex figures. His ability to masterfully control body language and convey nuanced emotions has become a signature strength.
One of his standout recent performances was in Bloodhounds (2023), a fantasy-action thriller centered on the battle between good and evil with supernatural undertones. In the film, Park took on a villainous role imbued with psychological depth, further showcasing his range and aptitude for tackling layered characters that demand both inner strength and physical presence.
He also received acclaim for his role in The Dude in Me (2019), a body-swap comedy that combines humor with heartfelt emotional beats. His performance not only delivered laughs but also revealed his finesse in portraying internal transformation, earning him the Best Actor Award at the Korean Culture and Entertainment Awards.
