Update news ministry of industry and trade
In 2024, Vietnam’s import-export sector rebounded strongly, supported by a more favourable macroeconomic environment, concerted efforts by the Government, ministries, and sectors, as well as the resilience of the business community.
The 'V-Brands Go Global' program will help transform Vietnamese products into global icons.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade has identified a range of factors behind the recent closure of over 5,500 shops and small businesses along city streets and at traditional markets across Vietnam.
The initiative is expected to unlock new opportunities for traditional vendors, helping them improve business capabilities, align with the national digitalisation trend and contribute to the robust growth of e-commerce in Vietnam.
“In the past, I noticed that many investors were selected. But after being selected, they waited for the right time to ride the wave and profit from price differences. This is extremely dangerous,” Minister Nguyen Hong Dien warned.
