Doraemon Movie 44: Nobita and the Journey into the Art World experienced a sharp decline in ticket sales, falling to third place with VND 6.3 billion (USD 247,000) from nearly 141,000 tickets sold. However, it has already crossed the VND 154 billion (USD 6 million) mark in Vietnam.

The R-rated horror film Duoi Day Ho, after leading the box office the previous week, dropped to fourth with just VND 3.4 billion (USD 133,000) over the weekend. Its total now stands at VND 25 billion (USD 980,000) after 10 days in theaters.

Tom Cruise’s Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One came in fifth, adding VND 2.6 billion (USD 102,000) over the weekend and bringing its total to VND 42 billion (USD 1.64 million) in Vietnam.

This weekend, Vietnamese cinemas will welcome the local animated film Trang Quynh Nhi: Legend of the Golden Buffalo, along with two new horror releases: Ut Lan: The Vengeful Spirit and 28 Years After the Apocalypse.
