Accompanying President Sulyok Tamás were Tibor Baloghdi, Hungarian Ambassador to Vietnam; Timár István Szilveszter, Head of the Presidential Office; Windisch István, Chief of Staff to the President; Király András László, Chief Advisor; and Kereszty Gabriella, Deputy Director of the Foreign Affairs Department.

After transferring from the airport to the Metropole Hotel, President Sulyok Tamás and the First Lady wasted no time immersing themselves in the capital’s charm, enjoying a relaxing evening stroll through some of Hanoi’s most historic and scenic locations.
In cool weather and a light drizzle, the President and First Lady, dressed casually and wearing sneakers, walked along Ly Thai To, Le Phung Hieu, Ngo Quyen, Le Thach, Dinh Tien Hoang, and Trang Tien streets.
At each stop, the Hungarian leader lingered to admire the surroundings and learn about Vietnam’s heritage sites. Notable landmarks on their walk included the statue of King Ly Thai To, the legendary Turtle Tower in Hoan Kiem Lake, and the Hoa Phong Tower.
Some Vietnamese citizens recognized the distinguished visitors and waved to them. The President and First Lady responded with warm, friendly waves.
