On the afternoon of May 30, the relic of the Buddha - recognized as a national treasure of India - officially arrived in Da Nang. Thousands of local residents, monks, nuns, Buddhist followers, and tourists filled the streets to witness this sacred moment.

At around 4:00 PM, the plane carrying the relic landed at Da Nang International Airport. From there, a ceremonial motorcade began its journey along major city roads, including Nguyen Van Linh, Bach Dang, Tran Phu, Dragon Bridge, Ngo Quyen, Ngu Hanh Son, Le Van Hien, and Su Van Hanh, before reaching Quan The Am Pagoda in Ngu Hanh Son District.

Lining both sides of the streets, thousands of people and visitors - dressed respectfully and with hands clasped in prayer - stood solemnly to welcome the procession of the sacred relic.

At Quan The Am Pagoda, the relic is being enshrined in the main hall for public veneration from 7:00 PM on May 30 until the end of June 2. The pagoda will remain open 24 hours a day during this period to accommodate the spiritual needs of the many faithful.

Security, traffic, and medical services were fully mobilized to ensure the smooth conduct of the procession and the visitation period. Thousands of volunteers were also deployed to support the crowds of locals and pilgrims.

According to the plan outlined by the Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Da Nang, after the relic's enshrinement at Quan The Am Pagoda, a farewell ceremony will be held on June 2.

The relic will then be escorted back to India following the route: Su Van Hanh – Le Van Hien – Tien Son Bridge – 2/9 Street – Nguyen Van Linh – Da Nang International Airport.
