Authorities have discovered the body of a man near the site where the Vinh Xanh 58 tourist vessel capsized, resulting in the deaths of dozens in Ha Long Bay. The body has been transported to Bai Chay Hospital (Quang Ninh Province) for identification.

On the afternoon of July 22, a representative from the Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee confirmed that rescue teams had located the body of a male victim in the waters near the Vinh Xanh 58 wreck site on Ha Long Bay.

Authorities later transferred the body to Bai Chay Hospital to confirm the man's identity.

As of now, search operations are ongoing across multiple directions to locate the remaining missing passengers. However, efforts are being severely hampered by the effects of Storm No. 3, which has brought heavy rain, rough seas, and strong winds.
