After nearly a month of intense competition, several strong contenders for the Miss World 2025 crown have emerged.
The grand finale will be held on May 31 at the HITEX Exhibition Center in Hyderabad, India. Current Miss World Krystyna Pyszkova of the Czech Republic will crown her successor at the event.

Zoalise Jansen van Rensburg of South Africa is considered one of the front-runners. At 19, she is a law student and also works as a digital marketing director. With her elegant beauty, captivating communication skills, and maturity beyond her years, Zoalise quickly won the hearts of international fans. She won the “Best Designer Dress” award and reached the top 20 in the “Head to Head Challenge.”
Representing Brazil, Jessica Pedroso impresses with her charm and strong academic background. At 25, she is both a mechanical engineer and an English teacher. She holds a bachelor's degree in Education, a master’s in Linguistics, and has participated in numerous environmental initiatives. Jessica placed in the top 8 of the “Head to Head Challenge” and the top 24 in the “Talent” segment.
Thailand’s Suchata Chuangsri, 21, stands 1.8 meters tall and studies International Relations at Thammasat University. She manages her family’s hotel in Phuket and is fluent in four languages. After placing as third runner-up at Miss Universe 2024, Suchata is again proving her strength at Miss World, making the top 8 in the “Head to Head Challenge” and leading the “Multimedia Challenge.”
Miss France, Agathe Cauet, 26, is both a model and a nurse in a neurology ward. At 17, she underwent ovarian surgery due to cysts. Now, she has made it to the top 20 in the “Head to Head Challenge” and top 48 in the “Sport” round. With her striking looks and 1.79m height, many hope she can win France its second Miss World crown after a 70-year wait.
Valeria Pérez of Puerto Rico stands out with her sharp features, fiery red hair, and magnetic presence. At 23, she is a science teacher with a bachelor's degree in Biology and is pursuing a master’s in Medical Technology. Valeria won the “Beauty With a Purpose” segment and placed in the top 24 for “Talent.”
Jasmine Gerhardt from Ireland is also a top contender. At 26, she is a human rights legal assistant and advisor at the Court of Justice. A law graduate with a master’s in Human Rights and EU Law, Jasmine won the “Top Model” contest and placed in the top 8 “Head to Head Challenge,” top 32 “Sport,” and top 24 “Talent.”
Australia’s Jasmine Stringer graduated with a bachelor's in Education from Griffith University in 2019. Now 27, she works as a model and primary school teacher, and is also a former equestrian and country music singer. With a height of 1.78m and a fit physique, she is considered one of the most striking contestants this year. She also placed in the top 32 “Sport” and top 24 “Talent.”
Selma Kamanya from Namibia, who previously competed at Miss Universe 2018, makes a strong return at Miss World 2025. She won the “Top Model” round, entered the top 8 in the “Head to Head Challenge,” and the top 32 “Sport.” At 28, Selma is an executive assistant at a financial services company and holds a degree in Economics. Her bold features and radiant smile help her shine among contestants.
Miss Martinique, Aurelie Joachim, 27, is praised for her athletic build, healthy appearance, and 1.79m height. She is an art director and former track-and-field athlete. Aurelie won “Top Model,” placed second in “Sport,” and entered the top 48 for “Talent.” She speaks four languages and is pursuing a master’s in Business Administration.
Representing Vietnam, Huynh Tran Y Nhi has captured international attention with her confidence and youthful energy. The 22-year-old is a model and Business Administration student at Ho Chi Minh City International University, currently on an exchange program in Australia. She is fluent in English and Mandarin. Thanks to her meticulous preparation and confident stage presence, Y Nhi placed in the top 8 for “Beauty With a Purpose” and the top 48 for “Talent.”

Samantha Poole from New Zealand made an immediate impression and was soon listed among the competition’s strongest contenders. The 22-year-old beauty has a degree in Digital Design and currently works as a model and event marketing manager for a local council. She placed in the top 8 at Miss International 2024 and continues her streak with a top 8 “Top Model” finish and a top 32 “Sport” ranking.
As the host country’s representative, Nandini Gupta is expected to achieve a strong result in the grand finale. At 21, Miss India stands 1.75m tall, with delicate features and a radiant smile. After completing her bachelor's in Finance, she pursued her passion for the arts through modeling and acting. Her magnetic presence and professional presentation helped her win “Top Model” and secure a top 24 “Talent” spot.
