On the afternoon of May 28, organizers holding the Vietnamese license for Miss & Mister Supranational announced that Minh Khac would replace Ha Quang Trung as Vietnam’s male representative at Mister Supranational 2025 due to a sudden injury. He will travel to Poland alongside Vo Cao Ky Duyen to compete.

Pham Duy Khanh, Vietnam’s national director for Miss & Mister Supranational, explained the last-minute decision: “Ha Quang Trung had to be rushed to the hospital after suffering a serious leg injury during training. Doctors have recommended he be in a cast for at least two to four weeks with minimal movement.”
Faced with this unexpected situation, Mr. Khanh reached out to Minh Khac, first runner-up of The Next Gentlemen 2022 and Man of the Year 2022. After consideration, Minh Khac accepted the invitation to represent Vietnam.
Minh Khac cited three key reasons for accepting the last-minute offer. First, he has closely followed Mister Supranational for years and believes the competition’s image of an ideal modern man aligns with his own. Second, despite the rushed nature of the invitation, he still feels “the fire of passion and fighting spirit” burning inside him. Third, he views this journey as the start of a long-term personal project, including soft skill development.
“I can’t say I’m 100% ready to compete right now,” Minh Khac admitted. “But I will give it my best to complete this journey.” More importantly, he wants to represent the image of a modern, dynamic Vietnamese man ready for global integration.
Regarding the pressure of stepping in at the last minute, he said, “This is an unforeseen situation. I haven’t been active in the pageant scene despite my runner-up titles, but I’ve always valued opportunities to spread positive values in society. Titles don’t matter as much as what I can actually do for others.”

Vo Cao Ky Duyen, Vietnam’s candidate for Miss Supranational 2025, has set her sights high. “As Vietnam’s representative, I aim to bring home the top title and bring pride and honor to our country. Vietnam has yet to win a Miss Supranational crown, so I am determined to try my best to bring home our first.”
Addressing her weakness in English, Ky Duyen said she has been practicing daily from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m., focusing on catwalk, interviews, fitness, English, and talent. “I’m committed to improving my skills and bringing passionate energy and strength to proudly represent Vietnam’s young generation on the international stage,” she said.
The Miss & Mister Supranational 2025 competitions will take place in Poland in June 2025.
