The Center for Research and Application of Population Data and Citizen Identification (RAR Center) under the Ministry of Public Security’s (MPS) Administrative Police Department for Social Order (C06) on May 28 held a ceremony to sign a contract for the use of the electronic authentication service of An Khang Pharmacy on the national electronic identification app VNeID.

Colonel Ngo Nhu Cuong, Deputy Director of C06, said that including An Khang Pharmacy on VNeID will not only make it easier for people to buy medicine but also protect data security and reduce fraud in online transactions.

When people see a doctor using health insurance, the electronic prescription will be updated directly on the patient’s VNeID app. From this prescription, patients can choose An Khang Pharmacy to purchase medicine without queuing at hospital pharmacies.

Medicines will be delivered to their homes by An Khang or picked up at the pharmacy quickly and conveniently, with no risk of cross-infection at hospitals.

An Khang’s system will be faster, more accurate and more convenient, from verifying information to reviewing transaction history to accessing promotional policies. This is a significant step in bringing healthcare services closer to the public in an efficient and transparent manner.

An Khang Pharmacy said it is committed to providing high-quality products and ensuring transparency in every transaction, such as not charging dose-cutting fees, especially for common illnesses like colds, coughs, or runny noses, with no hidden costs of any kind.

An Khang Pharmacy sells genuine medicines with clear origins, licensed for circulation, and all products are sold at the manufacturer’s listed price under strict supervision.

Colonel Cuong said the service simplifies administrative procedures, enhances security, protects personal information, and facilitates electronic transactions for the public.

This is part of the goal to build an e-government and digital economy, creating a favorable environment for sustainable development and international integration.

“Implementing the electronic identification and authentication system in 2025 is a significant and crucial task in the national digital transformation process,” said the Colonel.

With the collaboration and efforts of the RAR Center and An Khang Pharmacy, the service through VNeID will help people easily conduct pharmaceutical transactions.

With the government’s goal of “Every Vietnamese citizen having an electronic health record on VNeID,” C06 is cooperating with the Ministry of Health, hospitals, and healthcare facilities to design components of the electronic health record.
