The forum “Positioning Vietnamese values abroad in the digital and artificial intelligence era” will take place on June 15 in Budapest, organized by the Vietnamese Women’s Forum in Europe.
Amid the rapidly evolving global digital revolution, Vietnam is making practical strides in technology development. For the Vietnamese diaspora - especially women, who bear the dual responsibility of preserving cultural identity while integrating internationally - adapting to technological advancement is no longer optional.

This second edition of the forum (the first held on June 3, 2023) presents an opportunity for Vietnamese women across Europe to gather, exchange ideas, share experiences, and learn from one another in their journey to elevate Vietnam’s global presence.
The Vietnamese Women’s Forum in Europe, known for its broad influence and credibility, has once again received approval from the Hungarian National Assembly to host this meaningful event at the headquarters of Hungary’s highest legislative body.
The forum will be honored by the attendance of Deputy Speaker of the Hungarian Parliament, Mátrai Márta, who will deliver an opening speech. Vietnamese women representatives in Europe, along with businesses and educational institutions, will present papers on necessary transformations in the digital age.
The event aims to connect Vietnamese women living, studying, and working in Europe - those who uphold traditional core values while being dynamic and creative in a modern environment. In the digital era, they serve as effective bridges between Vietnam and the world, linking Vietnamese cultural identity with the global wave of innovation. This mission aligns perfectly with the Forum’s motto: “Confidence, dynamism, creativity, connection.”
The event carries even greater significance as it coincides with the 75th anniversary of Vietnam-Hungary diplomatic relations and the 35th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and the European Union.

Nearly 300 delegates from 18 countries are expected to attend, marking a milestone in affirming the role and position of Vietnamese women in Europe in the era of national advancement.
The Vietnamese Women’s Forum in Europe was established following the first forum and is now a legally registered organization headquartered in Hungary. It currently includes members from 18 European countries and is governed by an executive board of 62 members, chaired by Dr. Phan Bich Thien.
In the nearly two years since its founding, the Forum has led many meaningful initiatives to unify and strengthen the Vietnamese women’s movement across Europe, while also building ties with domestic organizations and advancing global integration.
