Less than a month after winning the Mrs Grand Vietnam 2025 title, reigning queen Nguyen Thi Thua has officially represented Vietnam on the global stage at the Mrs Grand International 2025 and was crowned the overall winner.

Nguyen Thi Thua was named Mrs Grand International 2025 during the pageant’s grand finale held on July 12 in Myanmar. The event brought together 40 contestants from across the globe. Overcoming 39 remarkable women, Thua captivated the jury and international audience alike, claiming the prestigious crown.

Her consecutive victories in both national and international beauty arenas are a testament to the intellect, grace, and strength of modern Vietnamese women. Nguyen Thi Thua's achievement is not only a well-deserved reward for her relentless dedication but also a source of national pride for Vietnam on the global beauty map.

Thua’s standout presence at Mrs Grand International 2025 was marked by her radiant charisma, confident demeanor, fluent English communication, and an inspiring life philosophy.

During the Q&A round, she was asked: “Is there a stereotype about married women or mothers that you wish to break while standing on this stage?”

Her heartfelt response deeply moved the audience: “Tonight, standing on this stage, I want to break the stereotype that women who are married or mothers no longer have the opportunity to pursue their dreams. On the contrary, marriage and motherhood have made me stronger, more compassionate, and more profound. I believe women can take care of their families, build their careers, and still shine brightly in their own way. I am here to prove that being a wife or a mother does not mean losing oneself - it is a continuation of an inspiring journey, full of confidence, strength, and grace.”

Born in 1989, Nguyen Thi Thua stands 1.72 meters tall and weighs 60 kilograms. She currently works at the Department of Information and Statistics under the Ministry of Science and Technology. A graduate of Thai Nguyen University, she holds a Master’s degree from Vietnam National University, Hanoi. Thua is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Science and Technology Management at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

Mrs Grand International is a prestigious global pageant for married women. With its powerful message against war and its advocacy for peace, women's rights, and an end to gender-based violence and inequality, the pageant has been held annually in various countries including Thailand, Canada, the Philippines, and the United States, drawing contestants from around the world.

Vietnam’s first winner of this pageant was Phan Kim Oanh, who earned the Mrs Grand International 2022 crown. With her influence and commitment to promoting positive messages, she was invited by pageant president Khun Hset Han to extend her reign, making her the first in the pageant's history to hold the crown for two consecutive years (2022–2023).

Nguyen Thi Thua’s victory, following in the footsteps of Phan Kim Oanh, marks another proud milestone for Vietnam’s presence on the international beauty stage. It underscores the image of the Vietnamese woman - resilient, intelligent, and ready to serve causes greater than herself for the benefit of the community and the world.
