According to the draw results for the 2026 AFC U23 Asian Cup qualifiers, U23 Vietnam has been placed in Group C alongside Bangladesh, Singapore, and Yemen.

Notably, both Singapore and Yemen were familiar opponents in the 2024 qualifiers, where U23 Vietnam topped the group to advance to the finals.

The qualifiers will take place in September 2025, with hosting rights assigned to the designated country of each group.

A total of 44 teams will participate, divided into 11 groups of four teams each, playing in a single round-robin format.

The 11 group winners and the four best second-placed teams will qualify for the final tournament, set to be held in Saudi Arabia in January 2026. The host nation receives automatic qualification.
