The 2025 Vietnam Amateur Open Championship concluded with top honors going to Nguyen Trong Hoang (VAO) and Thailand’s Marisa Tojal (VLAO), both securing key victories after intense competition.

The men’s championship (VAO) witnessed a thrilling head-to-head battle between two rising stars, Nguyen Trong Hoang and Ho Anh Huy. Hoang led the leaderboard after three rounds with a cumulative score of 5-under par, raising high expectations heading into the final day.

With round scores of 67 – 71 – 72 – 77, Nguyen Trong Hoang claimed the men’s title at the 2025 Vietnam Amateur Open. Ho Anh Huy finished just one stroke behind at even par, with rounds of 68 – 76 – 72 – 72.

Based on their final leaderboard standings, both Nguyen Trong Hoang and Ho Anh Huy have earned spots on Vietnam’s national golf team for the 33rd SEA Games, set to take place in Thailand.

In the Vietnam Ladies Amateur Open 2025 (VLAO), Thailand’s Marisa Tojal delivered a stellar performance, finishing with a total score of +2 across three rounds (75 – 74 – 69) to secure the women's championship title.
