Based on the commission’s findings, the Secretariat determined that Tran Ngoc Thuan (former Standing Member of the Party Committee of the Central Business Bloc, former Party Secretary and Chairman of the Board of the Vietnam Rubber Group); Vo Van Chanh (former Standing Member of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, former Vice Chairman of Dong Nai People’s Committee); and Nguyen Van Tien (former Provincial Party Member, former Vice Chairman of the Hau Giang Provincial People’s Council) had all experienced serious degradation in political ideology, ethics, and lifestyle.

These individuals violated Party regulations and State laws while performing their duties, particularly in matters related to anti-corruption, waste prevention, and misconduct.

They breached rules on behaviors prohibited to Party members and failed to uphold the standards of conduct and exemplary leadership.

Their actions caused extremely serious consequences, sparked public outrage, and severely damaged the reputation of the Party organization, local government, and their affiliated agencies.

Given the nature, extent, and consequences of these violations, and in accordance with Party disciplinary regulations, the Party Secretariat decided to expel Tran Ngoc Thuan, Vo Van Chanh, and Nguyen Van Tien from the Communist Party of Vietnam.

The Secretariat also recommended that relevant authorities impose administrative penalties in a timely and coordinated manner to correspond with the Party's disciplinary actions.
