According to valuation data from Transfermarkt, the newest signing of Thep Xanh Nam Dinh Football Club holds a significantly higher international market value than striker Nguyen Xuan Son.

Midfielder Njabulo Blom, a South African national, has officially joined Thep Xanh Nam Dinh. He is a familiar face to fans of Major League Soccer (MLS), having played for St. Louis CITY SC. Blom has also earned caps for the South African national team.

Joining him at the Nam Dinh-based club for the upcoming season is English forward Kyle Hudlin, who stands out with his towering height of 2.01 meters.

Notably, according to the international football database Transfermarkt, Njabulo Blom is currently valued at 950,000 euros (approximately USD 1.03 million), far surpassing Nguyen Xuan Son’s valuation of 650,000 euros (around USD 706,000). With this, Blom becomes the most valuable player in V-League history.

Blom brings a combination of technical skill, tactical vision, and international pedigree. He is expected to be a key figure in Nam Dinh’s attacking strategy in the upcoming season.

With three of the five most valuable players in the league now wearing Nam Dinh jerseys, the club is no longer viewed as a dark horse. They are stepping into the role of contenders, with expectations to defend their V-League championship and make a strong push in international competitions next season.
