Khanh Hoa Province has unveiled its 2025 Sea Culture and Tourism Festival under the theme “Nha Trang say Hi”, introducing a vibrant new identity to attract both local and international travelers with a lineup of exciting events throughout the summer.

On the morning of May 9, the provincial Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism officially announced plans for the festival, which replaces the annual Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Sea Festival. This year’s edition promises an energetic summer season with a series of large-scale and diverse activities.
Director Nguyen Van Nhuan explained that the “Nha Trang say Hi” theme conveys a warm, welcoming message to international friends and domestic tourists. Major events will take place at 2/4 Square and along the beachfront park on Tran Phu Street in Nha Trang.
The festival is structured around four main event categories:
“Nha Trang say Hi” grand music night with high-altitude fireworks at 8:10 PM on June 7
International cultural exchange night at 8:10 PM on June 8
Street carnival parade beginning at 4:00 PM on June 9
Various side activities continuing throughout the month of June
In addition to entertainment, the province will host a range of cultural, sports, culinary, and environmental events to celebrate local heritage and promote sustainable tourism. Highlights include a street food festival, the Agarwood Festival, Bird's Nest Festival, and mass sports dance performances - promising rich, engaging experiences for visitors.
Mr. Nhuan noted that the festival is expected to welcome millions of visitors. To improve service quality, Khanh Hoa will work closely with relevant agencies to strictly monitor and crack down on price gouging, scams, or inappropriate behavior toward tourists.

According to Dinh Van Thieu, Vice Chairman of the Khanh Hoa People’s Committee, the festival is not only a tourism highlight but also a strategic platform to showcase the province’s potential and commitment to sustainable marine economic development.
“We hope this festival spreads the message of eco-friendly and civilized tourism, while strengthening connections between Khanh Hoa and other provinces and international destinations,” he said.
Festival programs will be professionally produced, creative, and focused on safety, efficiency, and budget-conscious execution. Organizers aim to create memorable experiences for both residents and tourists while reinforcing Khanh Hoa’s position on Vietnam’s tourism map.
