The Quang Ninh Provincial Police have arrested eight more individuals, raising the total number of detained suspects to thirteen. Authorities have also seized additional evidence and means related to the recent drug trafficking case.
On April 28, Quang Ninh Provincial Police announced that they had apprehended and prosecuted additional individuals connected to the drug trafficking operation in the area.

Accordingly, the Quang Ninh Provincial Police, in coordination with professional units under the Ministry of Public Security and police departments in various provinces and cities, swiftly launched synchronized investigative measures. Within less than 24 hours, they captured five suspects. Notably, Bui Dinh Khanh, who committed murder and fled across multiple provinces, was among those apprehended.
Authorities have been diligently gathering evidence, expanding the investigation, and pursuing further suspects. To date, Quang Ninh Provincial Police have arrested eight additional individuals, bringing the total number of detained suspects in the case to thirteen.
Seized items include 25 heroin bricks, 8.84 grams of synthetic drugs, one synthetic drug kit, two AK rifles, one Colt handgun, three magazines, one rifle butt, 154 bullets, 14 fired cartridge cases, one grenade (without detonator or explosives), ten detonators, four slow-burning fuses, and six automobiles.
On April 26, Quang Ninh Provincial Police issued supplementary decisions to prosecute the case, now involving six charges: murder, illegal trading of narcotics, illegal possession of narcotics, organizing illegal use of narcotics, illegal possession and use of military weapons, and harboring criminals.

The Quang Ninh Provincial Police have arrested eight more individuals, raising the total number of detained suspects to thirteen. Authorities have also seized additional evidence and means related to the recent drug trafficking case.
The Quang Ninh Provincial Police continue to collaborate with professional units under the Ministry of Public Security and police departments nationwide to expand the investigation and dismantle the entire drug trafficking and transportation network, along with all involved individuals.
Authorities are urging those involved in the case to surrender promptly to receive leniency under the law.
