
On May 20, the Hanoi People's Committee issued three decisions regarding adjustments and additions to the 2025 land use plans for Hoan Kiem, Hai Ba Trung, and Dong Da districts.
For Hoan Kiem District, four projects have been adjusted or newly added, with a total land area of approximately 8.625 hectares.
These include: the construction of Tran Hung Dao Bridge; compensation, support, resettlement, and renovation of the TOD (transit-oriented development) area east of Hoan Kiem Lake; the expansion of Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square (where the Shark Jaw building is located); and the Tu An Hotel project.
In Hai Ba Trung District, four projects were also added or adjusted, covering a total area of about 3.2 hectares.
These include: the Tran Hung Dao Bridge construction project; partial land recovery from agricultural areas for the construction of Tuoi Tre Thu Do Park; infrastructure upgrades on Tran Nhan Tong sidewalk and the entrance to Thong Nhat Park from Nguyen Dinh Chieu to Tran Binh Trong streets; and renovations to Le Duan sidewalk, the gates, and fences of Thong Nhat Park from Le Duan Street to Dai Co Viet Street.
For Dong Da District, three projects were added or adjusted, totaling about 1.56 hectares of land use.
These include: site clearance and construction of Kim Lien High School; comprehensive infrastructure and landscape renovation around Dong Da Lake; and the renovation and reconstruction of the residential building at 51 Huynh Thuc Khang Street in Lang Ha Ward.
