The world's most modern and unique cruise port

Officially launched in 2018, the Ha Long International Cruise Port has ushered in a new era for Ha Long tourism, bringing this world-renowned heritage site closer to international visitors.
Located in the heart of Bai Chay’s tourist area, the port was developed with a total investment of approximately 44 million USD and is capable of accommodating cutting-edge cruise ships carrying over 10,000 passengers, along with luxury yachts owned by the world’s elite. It remains one of the most modern cruise ports in Vietnam.
As the country's first dedicated international cruise port, Ha Long International Cruise Port was meticulously designed to ensure maximum convenience and safety for travelers.
The gangway leading to the international terminal stretches 785 meters in length and 10.5 meters in width, creating a direct, secure, and seamless route from the terminal to the docking area.
The international terminal itself spans 462 meters and can host two large cruise ships at once, with a total daily capacity of up to 10,000 passengers. Meanwhile, the domestic terminal boasts four berths capable of handling 200 to 300 cruise and sightseeing boats daily, serving up to 15,000 visitors exploring Ha Long Bay.

Since its opening, the Ha Long International Cruise Port has become a vital hub connecting domestic and international tourism, linking Ha Long with destinations across Europe and the Americas.
The port has become a sought-after stopover for many of the world’s premier cruise lines, including the likes of Costa Serena, Celebrity Solstice, and Noordam, which have integrated the port into their Southeast Asian itineraries.
Beyond its functionality, the port is also an architectural marvel. Its centerpiece is a 13,500-square-meter passenger terminal designed by renowned architect Bill Bensley, who blended Indochine aesthetics with the form of a classic European ship.
Intricate interior carvings, spacious halls, and warm golden lighting lend the space a refined elegance reminiscent of Hoi An’s ancient trading streets. Inside, advanced technologies streamline immigration procedures, offering a seamless, comfortable, and luxurious experience the moment guests step ashore.

As night falls, Ha Long International Cruise Port transforms into a vibrant scene, aglow with the lights of the Cruise Night Street - a hotspot for travelers craving a refined coastal vibe. On special evenings, live music fills the air as the sun slowly dips behind Ha Long’s towering limestone mountains, casting a romantic glow across the bay.
These picturesque moments are even more unforgettable given Ha Long Bay’s reputation as one of the world’s most beautiful places to watch the sunset.
