Among the official participants are one professor, 31 associate professors/assistant professors, 150 PhDs, and 19 master's degree holders or doctoral candidates.

Held by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Federation in cooperation with other agencies, the forum aims to connect and promote the role of young Vietnamese intellectuals both at home and abroad. This year’s theme is “Global Vietnamese young intellectuals joining hands to usher in a new era.”

According to Nguyen Kim Quy, Standing Vice President of the Vietnam Youth Federation, the forum seeks to generate initiatives and breakthrough solutions for national development while contributing to the implementation of the Politburo’s Resolution 57 on science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation.

More than 90% of the 201 official delegates have received training abroad. Sixty-two of them are currently working in 20 different countries and territories.

The forum’s delegates come from key fields such as science and technology, economics and management, healthcare, sustainable development and environment, education, and social sciences. Many participants are leading experts in nuclear physics, rocket propulsion, AI algorithms, green economy, financial banking, biomedical technology, and linguistics.

Key discussions will revolve around topics including the application of AI and emerging technologies to boost productivity, innovation-driven startups linked to the green economy, sustainable adaptation to global change, and strengthening educational and cultural platforms in the new era.

During the forum, delegates will visit the VinFast factory in Hai Phong, explore the Green SM electric vehicle enterprise, and join a seminar on data security. Side workshops will be held in both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City and organized in thematic groups.

According to Nguyen Tuong Lam, Secretary of the Central Youth Union and President of the Vietnam Youth Federation, the forum has drawn over 1,000 young intellectuals worldwide since its inception. It has played an active role in shaping policies that support young Vietnamese talent.

This year’s forum will once again serve as a platform for global Vietnamese intellectuals to share perspectives on their vision, mission, and potential contributions to Vietnam’s development and integration into the global economy.
