According to decisions from the Politburo, Lam Van Man, Chairman of the National Assembly's Ethnic Council and Secretary of the Soc Trang Provincial Party Committee, is relieved of his roles in the Soc Trang Party Executive Committee and Standing Committee, and from his position as Provincial Party Secretary.

He has been reassigned to the National Assembly Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, where he joins both the Executive and Standing Committees.
Similarly, Hoang Duy Chinh, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Ethnic Council and Secretary of the Bac Kan Provincial Party Committee, has been relieved of his roles in Bac Kan and reassigned to the National Assembly Party Committee, also joining both its Executive and Standing Committees for the 2020-2025 term.
Meanwhile, the Party Secretariat has decided to relieve Phung Khanh Tai, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee, from his provincial duties. He is appointed as Deputy Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
Additionally, the National Assembly Standing Committee has approved Dang Ngoc Huy, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee, as Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly’s Committee for Deputy Affairs.
Presenting the appointments, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man emphasized that the new roles represent both an honor and a significant responsibility.
He acknowledged that the four officials - Lam Van Man, Hoang Duy Chinh, Phung Khanh Tai, and Dang Ngoc Huy - have undergone comprehensive training. Two of them were assigned from central to local positions (Phu Tho and Quang Ngai), while the other two have extensive experience in local governance (Soc Trang and Bac Kan).
Chairman Man expressed his hopes that the newly appointed officials will be proactive in research and policymaking, offer timely and accurate advice, and utilize their strengths and experience with decisive thinking and determination. He urged them to bring tangible results in their new roles.
He also stressed the importance of innovation and a unified mindset to serve national interests and contribute to enhancing the National Assembly's prestige in legislation, oversight, and policymaking.
Chairman Man expressed confidence in the new appointees’ ability to succeed in their positions and contribute to the National Assembly as a “house of great solidarity,” reiterating the mantra: “Solidarity, solidarity, great solidarity – Success, success, great success.”
