At its 56th session held today, the Central Inspection Commission was chaired by Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, and Head of the Commission Nguyen Duy Ngoc.

After reviewing reports on disciplinary recommendations for Party members found in violation across multiple organizations, including the Ministry of Education and Training, the Vietnam Rubber Group, and the provinces of Dong Nai and Hau Giang, the Commission decided to issue a warning to Nguyen Thi Kim Chi, who also serves as a member of the Party Committee's Standing Board at the Ministry of Education and Training.

According to the Commission, while serving as a Standing Committee member of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee and Party Secretary of Cua Lo Town, Nguyen Thi Kim Chi violated Party regulations and state laws in fulfilling her assigned responsibilities.

Her actions also breached the Party’s rules on prohibited conduct for members and failed to meet exemplary leadership standards. These violations caused serious consequences, undermining the credibility of the Party organization, warranting disciplinary action.

The Central Inspection Commission also recommended that higher authorities consider disciplining the following individuals:

Tran Ngoc Thuan, former member of the Standing Board of the Party Committee of the Central Business Bloc, former Party Secretary, and Chairman of the Board of the Vietnam Rubber Group

Vo Van Chanh, former member of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Standing Committee and former Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee

Nguyen Van Tien, former provincial Party member and former Vice Chairman of the Hau Giang Provincial People’s Council

These officials were found to have shown political, ethical, and lifestyle degradation, violated Party rules and state laws in the performance of their duties, and failed in anti-corruption and anti-negative behavior responsibilities.

Their conduct violated rules prohibiting certain behaviors for Party members and failed to set a good example, resulting in particularly serious consequences and significantly damaging the credibility of the Party organizations, local governments, and agencies involved.

During the session, the Commission also discussed and reviewed a draft procedural framework for conducting inspections and supervision by Party advisory and support bodies. It also considered five disciplinary appeals and concluded discussions on several important matters.
