
On the morning of April 26, a passenger bus accident occurred on a mountain pass in Tam Dao (Vinh Phuc province). Rescue teams are at the scene, working to assist the victims.
At the scene, a 35-seat bus bearing license plate 29F-059.XX had overturned into the lower slope of the road. The windshield and several windows were shattered, and approximately 20 meters of roadside guardrail were damaged.
According to the Traffic Police Department (Ministry of Public Security), initial reports confirm that one person has died, and several others are injured.
Speaking to VietNamNet on the morning of April 26, Nguyen Duy Dung, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tam Dao town, said he and local authorities were present at the scene of the accident.
Dung stated that the accident occurred on the road leading to and from Tam Dao town, in the section passing through Ho Son commune (Tam Dao district). The bus was descending the mountain when it crashed.
"Rescue operations are underway, and many passengers have been rushed to the hospital in a state of panic," Dung added.
Authorities from Vinh Phuc province continue their rescue efforts and are working to manage the aftermath of the accident.
