The preliminary round of Miss Vietnam 2024 took place on the evening of April 20, featuring 41 contestants. In addition to the evening gown and traditional ao dai segments, the contestants turned up the heat with a sizzling bikini performance.

After a month of training with a catwalk director, choreographers, and posture experts, the Miss Vietnam 2024 hopefuls showed remarkable improvement - most notably in the synchronized bikini showcase.

Set to the vibrant rhythm of "Son" by musician Duc Nghia, the young women, aged 18 to early 20s, confidently flaunted their physiques and stage presence.

Dressed in eye-catching turquoise swimwear with long sheer drapes, the contestants showcased their grace and elegance as they walked the extended runway.

The bikini competition is one of the key components used by the judges to select the next Miss Vietnam 2024, alongside the criteria of beauty, intellect, cultural understanding, and social contribution.

According to the judging panel, this year’s group of contestants stands out for their even levels of physical beauty, poise, and educational background.

Sharing their thoughts backstage, former Miss Vietnam titleholders Do Thi Ha and Thanh Thuy expressed their excitement and admiration for the confidence and elegance displayed by all 41 contestants.

With poise, polish, and clear growth in their performances, the 41 young women conveyed a message of youthfulness, modernity, and relentless effort to the audience.
